Gary's in the clear: Orlaith's millionaire ex won't face cop charges over 'kill threat' claims...

Sunday, 24 June 2007

The millionaire fiancé of Big Brother babe Orlaith McAllister will not face any further police action over her claim that he threatened to kill her.

Dungannon-born Gary McCausland — host of Channel 5’s How To Be A Property Developer — spent eight hours banged up in a police cell last month following the bust-up with the former reality TV star.

The entrepreneur, who made his money developing luxury properties, was released on bail and ordered to return to a south London police station last week pending further inquiries.

But a spokesman for the Metropolitan police said yesterday: "He has been released without charge and there the matter ends."

The spokesman would give no further details nor say if Orlaith (27) had withdrawn her original complaint.

Orlaith, who shot to fame with her surgically enhanced boobs on Big Brother, returned to Belfast with the couple’s four-month-old baby Eva after the latest row at their home in Kew, south London.

The pair were attempting a SECOND reconciliation when it’s understood there were heated exchanges over topless photographs of new mum Orlaith in a lads' mag.

The troubled couple split for the first time in April, less than a month after showing off their baby in OK magazine.

Friends say Orlaith, who was runner-up to Zoe Salmon in the 1999 Miss Northern Ireland beauty pageant, is determined that her relationship with Gary is now over.
